In a million ways, my life has seemed to get so busy lately! The days have been flying past, and I can’t believe it’s the end of February already.
This month, it was my twentieth birthday, and so I’ve definitely got some new things to add to my monthly favourites!
Social Media: Pinterest
I’ve always loved Pinterest as it’s such a great tool for inspiration and ideas.
My family are still in the process of finalising our house move, so Pinterest has definitely been getting me through all the drama, by helping me focus on the fun side of moving: decorating.
You can find me on Pinterest here. Feel free to snoop in my house-inspo boards for a taste of what my space could look like when we (finally? eventually?) move!
Book: 7,300 Days by Isabella Mente
My older sister bought this book for me as a gift for my twentieth birthday, and it’s a perfect fit. Isabella Mente wrote this book about her life from birth to twenty years old, and so it’s definitely an interesting book for me to read at this time in my life!
I’m roughly half way through, or just over, so far, and I can’t wait to finish it.
Beauty: Sleepy by Lush
I’ve been meaning to get my hands on Lush’s ‘Sleepy’ lotion for the longest time, as I’ve only ever heard good things about it.
After my birthday, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Brighton for the day, and I used the Lush voucher my colleagues had gifted me to finally purchase ‘Sleepy’.
Adding to all the good reviews I’ve heard, here’s mine: I LOVE this product! I often have nights where I wake up in the early hours of the morning and struggle to get back to sleep. When this happens, I’ve been using ‘Sleepy’, and as if by magic, I’m back to sleep again.
Documentary: Investigating Conspiracies with Shane Dawson
Although this is a series on YouTube, I would definitely consider Shane’s series a true documentary.
The amount of time and work Shane and Andrew put in to making these videos is incredible, and their hard work pays off.
I’ve loved Shane’s videos lately, and I’m always watching his old videos back when I need cheering up – but his conspiracy series are always my favourite.
I really hope Shane makes a Netflix or TV series one day, as he’s definitely capable of doing so!
Purchase: Stitch Cuddleez
Okay, so this maybe isn’t something you’d expect a twenty-year-old to be spending their money on, but what can I say? I guess I’m still a little Disney kid at heart!
So, a few days after my birthday, I thought I’d treat myself, and Disney had emailed me a discount code for my birthday too – I just had to put it to use.
I had seen another blogger post about their Eeyore Cuddleez, and I fell in love, so I had to get one myself. I opted for Stitch as he’s one of my favourite characters, and it’s possible I already have way too many Eeyore teddies…
My dad made fun of me the second it turned up – but I LOVE my Stitch and I’m so glad I bought him.
Let me know what you’ve been loving this month!
