I cannot believe we are already at the end of April – this month has just flown by, and it’s insane just how fast this year is going.
Here’s what I loved in the month of April!
TV Show: Narcos on Netflix
This TV Show has been and gone, starting in 2015 and ending in 2017, but I had never thought to watch it until now. I can’t wrap my head around why I would’ve just scrolled past this, as it very quickly turned into one of my favourite TV shows!
Narcos probably isn’t for everybody as it is quite obviously about the drug trade in Colombia and Pablo Escobar’s impact on Colombia and the USA – but if that’s something you can handle and something that interests you, then I couldn’t recommend this show enough.
I haven’t even finished the first season yet, but I absolutely love this show.
Homeware: Reed Diffuser, Tesco
This may seem like the most random thing to feature on my Monthly Favourites, but I can’t help but love the reed diffuser I picked up in Tesco recently.
It was such a simple purchase, and cheap too at just £4, but the peach and passionfruit scent is stunning and it’s got me in the mood for Spring / Summer.
I’m such a fan of candles, diffusers, and anything else that helps my room / bathroom / etc smelling fresh, and this does exactly that, with a strong scent that’s not overpowering! I know for sure I’m going to be buying these again and again.
Beauty: OGX Shampoo & Conditioner
I’ve tried so many cruelty-free shampoos recently but I keep going back to OGX. They have a huge range of scents and different formulas, and they make my hair so soft!
I will eventually be swapping to Lush hair products, but until I make the trip to Lush, I’ll be continuing with OGX.
Song: ME! by Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie
She’s done it again, an incredible song and music video that has been stuck in my head ever since it was released.
Taylor Swift is easily my favourite artist, and Brendon Urie / Panic! At the Disco is high on my list too, so this collaboration was delightfully unexpected and hugely welcomed in my eyes!
I am so excited for her new album and this new era, and I have added this song to all of my playlists, so I had to add it to my Monthly Favourites list too.
Eco-Friendly: Produce Bag
I cannot stand the plastic bags they use in the grocery aisles of supermarkets for loose fruit and veg, as I think it is completely unnecessary!
I picked up a produce bag from a homeware store I can’t remember the name of, and I wouldn’t use anything else ever again.
These are such a simple eco-friendly alternative, and they aren’t harsh on your bank account at all; they’re also super easy to get your hands on as they’re stocked in so many eco stores as well as mainstream, stores like Amazon!
If you haven’t yet made the switch – you definitely should.
What were you loving in April?
